Hi there. I’m Paul.

I’m a designer, filmmaker, photographer, and writer based in Halifax, Nova Scotia / Kjipuktuk, Mi’kma’ki. I like telling stories, whatever the medium. For nearly 20 years I’ve worked as a creative media specialist, helping clients tell their stories in compelling ways.

Ketchup Studios is my workshop, where I push pixels around and try to make cool stuff. I’d love to put my creativity and experience to work for you.

The boring bit: I majored in Marketing Management at Dalhousie University, and studied film production at Vancouver Film School. I started Ketchup Studios and began working as a freelancer in 2006.

The fun stuff: I’m a nerdy cat dad and trivia buff. I’m also active as a musician, recording and performing regularly around Halifax as a trumpeter and singer. For my musical side, visit paulstamandmusic.com.
